By registering to OSIS all the recorded STS operations which you supervised will automatically be shown in your experience section. This will include the reports submitted by masters assessing your performance.

There may be STS operations, however, that are not recorded to OSIS and this limits the accuracy of the information available about you. For this reason, you can manually record, in a clear and standardized way, the STS operations you supervised that are not currently included within OSIS. You will have full control of the data you choose to submit on STS operations not already in OSIS and only you will have access to the information you provide. This information will not be used for any other purpose or service without your explicit permission.

By entering all of your experience, the system can provide accurate statistics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for you. You also have the opportunity to analyse your performance. The information required is comparable with the details recorded to OSIS and thus a consolidated personal report can be prepared and presented.

Using OSIS you can:

• keep records of all your STS operation experience in one secure place;
• analyse your experience against the reports of masters on the STS operations you were involved with and record your personal comments, and
• maintain a standardized updated CV that highlights your qualifications and your professional experience demonstrating your compliance with the latest requirements of the International Conventions and industry best practice.
